Language is used for many reasons, including communication, self-expression. Knowledge, creativity, and releasing shaped emotions. Many studies of monolinguals in Linguistics have looked at people who have extensive expertise with a second language. Learning to speak a language comes with a wealth of intricate, and sometimes unnoticed, information and arrangement of the vocal organs in the body. The study of phonetics has helped us tremendously in improving our communication skills. This review presents the present scenario of phonetics and linguistics and evolution of English language in India.
